World Down Syndrome Day has been organized since 2006 on the initiative of Down Syndrome International (DSI) et d’European Down Syndrome Association (EDSA).
En 2011, the UN General Assembly declared the 21 March as World Down Syndrome Day21.
Why this date ?
the number 21 for Down syndrome 21, the month of March because it is the 3rd month of the year (corresponds to the 3 chromosomes 21).
Once again, ce 21 March we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 21.
And yes ! some of us have an extra chromosome, and then ?
